"Every year we invite the finalists in our business plan competition to take part in the BiD Challenge Finalist Week. Businesspeople from all over the world come to the Netherlands to prepare themselves for the exciting finale. For the last two years, a weekend at the De Nijensteen farm has been a fixed part of the week-long programme.
The stylish, yet informal ambiance of the farm and its unique location ensured a weekend full of fun and intense human connections. In addition to providing us accommodation, d.o.b foundation organized a number of activities this year, including a training course on making presentations and a workshop on team building. The presentation training helped the entrepreneurs prepare for the exciting jury-interviews. The training was not only instructive, it also provided hilarious moments which enabled the finalists to improve their skills and self-confidence quickly. The interaction between the different cultures during the team building activity led to inspiring results, strengthening the group feeling.
