Because of the great quality corn he harvested each year, a farmer won every prize the Ministery of Agriculture of his country could give away. A journalist had become quite curious and went to him to ask about his secret.
'Quite simple', was the answer.
'After harvesting I give a large amount of it to the neighbours as sowing-seed.'
'Give away? But your neighbours are the competition!,' said the journalist.
'The one can't work without the other. It's a whole or don't you see that?' said the farmer. 'If my neighbours sow something of bad quality, it has consequences for my crops; the pollen blows in every direction in springtime. To grow a good product I must ensure that the quality of their corn is good as well.
In life I can't do good if I do not stimulate others to do the same.
