How We Work

A change has taken place in how we work. We have become more pro-active and focused on what is happening in the field. As we are with a small team of professionals efficiency is critical. Therefore we now actively look for those initiatives that fit with our focus and where d.o.b foundation can add the most value, instead of reacting to proposals.

This means: we don't accept requests for funding and unsolicited proposals.

During the past nine years, enthusiasm and drive have led the foundation to take part in over 100 projects in 26 different countries. d.o.b foundation has decided to participate in a smaller number of projects that have the potential for a larger impact on more people who have less opportunities.

By focusing on a smaller amount of projects that are often complex and risky, there is a greater need for us to invest in finding the right initiatives, people, organizations and businesses to make the projects successful.

We believe that in joining forces and working together more can be achieved than alone. This philosophy holds for everything we do. In projects and daily business. We therefore also work in partnerships to find the initiatives that fit with our mission and goals. To find those small unique seeds that have the potential for breakthroughs in thinking or acting, to sow them and help them grow.
